This is the part where I tell you all about who I am, and why you’ll enjoy the books you just saw a link to on the front page – you know, that wiz slider thing.
I write books and short stories. The first one most folks get familiar with is Firedrake, a humanoid dragon who chases superhuman criminals for a government that he knows is using him. Drake keeps doing what he does best so that his brother can get the care he needs, even if that care comes at the hands of Big Brother.
I developed Drake as a character set in my universe of Emergence, where people with superhuman abilities began to appear in 1963. You can read some of the earliest Emergence stories in the anthology titled (unsurprisingly) “Tales of the Emergence”.
The Emergence universe will be a game setting for Lester Smith’s d6xd6 roleplaying game, allowing fans to recreate their favorite characters or create their own. For more details on Lester’s game, take a look HERE.
Fan of steampunk? Westerns? Science Fiction or fantasy? Check out Jericho Sims! Wanderer of the West in search of the Surgeon, a demonic doctor who murdered Jericho’s fellow soldiers as part of a dark ritual. Exposed to the magic, Jericho now finds himself running into the strangest of things. Will the gunslinger prove a match for the supernatural forces arrayed against him?
Talking animals engaged in a galaxy-spanning war? Got ’em — and they’re free! Search the site for blog posts tagged “Z262”, and meet the Folk making a new life on a mining planet. Enjoy slice-of-life vignettes and short stories celebrating this odd group of characters.
I was recently invited to add stories to the Tulsa Immortals series created by Audra Hart, and Thorn in Her Side is the first of those. Follow the snarky sorcerer Zak Thorne and his best friend Lori Dane as they navigate a world of paranormal adventure. More to come in the TI series!
Random short stories and some anthologies I have stuff in will also show up from time to time. Some may be on the slider, but you can always look at my collections page HERE to see the full list of my published tales and where to get them.
